Acting Studies
Bong Sou has always been drawn to theatre and cinema, in addition to dancing and music. For him, the essence of “acting” is mostly about physical transformation and sharing emotion through performance. He sees the sixth and seventh arts as forms of catharsis for both the actors and the audience, creating a unique and deeply personal connection between them. That relationship is what has kept him passionate and eager to keep growing.

2025 – Stand’Impro, Geneva, Switzerland
Learning a text by heart can be challenging, but he never saw it as the hardest part. Improvisation, however, takes things further. It’s about stepping into the unknown, reacting in the moment, and really listening to others on stage. Because of that, every performance is unique and feels alive. Wanting to challenge himself, Bong Sou decided to study improv, knowing that some of the most memorable scenes in film history were completely improvised.
Bong Sou trained at Stand’Impro with Andreas Ventouras, who also coaches individuals from both the public and private sectors. This includes executives, instructors, and other professionals seeking to strengthen their communication and public speaking skills.

2013 – École Côté Cour, Paris, France
Bong Sou took theatre classes at Côté Cour, a small drama school in Paris. He received lessons directly from the founder Jean-Baptiste Berthon, who taught according to the Stanislavski method, focusing on authenticity and emotional truth in performance. French actress Élodie Fontan also trained there, adding to the school’s strong reputation. At the end of the semester, he performed the scene he had worked on in front of a public audience that included producers and directors.
